2011 PROPERTY TAX DUE DATE
|
The 2011 City of Quitman property tax bills were due on or before December 20, 2011.
Interest began accruing on unpaid bills on December 21, 2011.
An addition fifa charge will be added to unpaid bills on January 20, 2012.
All 2011 bills that are not paid by March 20, 2012 will accrued an additional 10% penalty and
will continue to accrue interest at a rate of 1% per month thereafter until paid.

The Brooks County Development Authority exists to promote economic development in Brooks County by aiding in the expansion of existing industry and through the attraction of new investment and quality employment opportunities. The Authority focuses on economic development to create financial opportunity for all citizens, i.e. jobs; through business investment resulting in a more diversified public revenue base.
